Hey all,

I've got a question. For some strange reason, .xml files on my PC no longer open correctly. I'm using XP Pro SP3. I had been experimenting with Adobe DreamWeaver CS3 in the past, and when I uninstalled it, the file association got all messed up. I want to be able to open an XML document that has an associated XSL stylesheet, but whenever I hit Enter on the document, it fails to open, popping up a dialog that says that there's no file association for that type defined and to create an association in Folder Options. What should I do?

Hmm, can't programs like notepad, IE, ands tuff like that open up.XML files?

IE can, but it isn't noticing the XSL stylesheet. Maybe there's some type of cmd-line switch that needs to be passed to it, but IE should normally render the XML file itself, parsing it and using the stylesheet. I'll see what I can do.

I think Mozilla Firefox notices them, too.,

I restored the file association with no problem, but IE still won't recognize that there's an XSL stylesheet attached to the XML document. I'm using IE 8, if that has anything to do with it.
